We are seeking a dynamic and experienced US IT Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruitment for IT positions. This role focuses on hiring candidates who can work on a W2 basis (direct employees, not independent contractors or C2C). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT skillsets, US labor laws, and the W2 employment model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and manage candidates for various IT roles, ensuring a smooth hiring process.
- Source candidates: Identify potential candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and referrals. Utilize ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and various recruiting tools.
- W2 candidate focus: Recruit candidates who can work on a W2 basis. Understand tax and employment implications for W2 employees.
- IT recruiting expertise: Specialize in sourcing candidates for a wide variety of IT roles such as developers, system administrators, database administrators, cybersecurity professionals, network engineers, and more.
- Pre-screening: Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate technical skills, work experience, cultural fit, and availability.
- Collaborate with hiring managers: Understand the technical requirements and project needs for open positions. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers.
- Job posting: Write clear, compelling job descriptions and post them on relevant job boards.
- Negotiation: Negotiate compensation packages, including salaries, benefits, and other W2 terms, with candidates.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding employment practices, including EEO, ADA, and labor laws.
- Reporting and metrics: Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruiting metrics to track the hiring process, candidate pipeline, and performance against targets.
- Candidate onboarding: Assist with onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of IT recruiting experience in the US, particularly with W2 hires.
Experience working with IT roles, including technical assessments.
- Skills:Strong understanding of IT skill sets and technologies (Java, Python, SQL, Cloud, DevOps, etc.).
Proficient in using ATS and other recruitment tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice).
Familiarity with US employment laws and W2 employment structure.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple open positions simultaneously.
