Lead Backend Automation QA Engineer

MUST HAVES:
·Client wants experience in Backend Automation Design and Development.
·Expertise in writing SQL Queries.
·Extensive Backend Testing Experience Mandatory.
·Lead Team 
·Design and develop automation frameworks for ETL testing. 
·ETL Testing Experience in AWS Infrastructure and environment.
·Execute end-to-end testing of ETL processes including data extraction, transformation, loading and reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness and data integrity.
·Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python/Java, Selenium, etc.

Responsibilities:
Design, Develop, Execute, and analyze automation test scripts & test results.
Conduct activities that ensure that application/system products and projects meet defined quality standards.
As a subject area expert, I provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to teams and partners at a high technical level.
Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional, and technically difficult.
Strategic in developing, implementing, and administering programs within functional areas.
Estimate tests accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.
Apply; design and build automated testing capabilities.
Involvement in product design to guarantee adherence to test coverage and meeting end-user requirements.
Record test results and report and verify software bug fixes to accept automation criteria.
Senior test Automation Engineer must be able to take on leadership responsibility and influence the direction of automation effort and its schedule and prioritization.
Coordinate with program and development management teams in the product development lifecycle to conform to end-user product and quality requirements and shipment schedules.

Required Skills:
Experience in writing automated scripts using scripting languages like SQL, VB Script, Java NTAC:3NS-20.
Experience in designing and building automated testing framework using tools like Cucumber, Selenium, UFT.
Ability to understand and develop customized testing tool capabilities as needed by Application under test.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Financial Domain and at least 5 years of experience in Asset Servicing and 3 years of experience in Custody Accounting and/or BackOffice
Strong Analytical skills to understand complex business logic and calculations.
Experienced in designing automated test scripts and validations for ETL/ELT solutions for multiple parallel processing pipelines.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process in distributed environment.
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Excellent communication skills
