Technical Skills: -
- Experience with PLCs for data collection
- Ideal candidate also has knowledge on:
Ignition, MQTT, Timeseries databases or industrial process historians, SQL Server
1. Install and configuration of Ignition (gateway and Core)
2. Identify the required Drivers (Allen Bradley & Custom Drivers to start with ) and ingest data from those PLCs
3. Work with IIoT Networking team relating to firewalls
4. Create Dashboards in Ignition Perspective - There may be discovery involved to understand current Factory Talk View systems and replicate the functionality in Ignition Perspective
5. C#/.Net knowledge to understand current equipment data collection system built using Rockwell product suite and replicate the functionality in Ignition
6. Exposing data from ignition as MQTT or other formats and work with integration partners (EMQX) 7. Troubleshooting performance issues with Data ingest or egress delays
