Job Description for UI/UX Designer

  • Work closely with Clients, creating & iterating UI/UX Designs.
  • Convert wireframes to design prototypes and full-fledged designs including site navigation & layout of content.
  • Work directly with project managers, UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and back-end developers to coordinate the on-time delivery of the digital products.
  • Ensure latest UX/UI trends are reflected in designs and industry standards are followed.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to ensure the wireframes & flows are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Present, explain & defend designs to clients.
  • Help clients solve complex UX/UI challenges in their products and make the experience joyful for the end-users.
  • Ensure latest trends & insights are reflected in the digital product.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of UX/UI design experience.
  • Experience in prototyping tools such as Figma, Axure, Sketch etc.
  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator or Sketch for designing web & mobile interfaces.
  • Good understanding of grid approach in design & layout as well as responsive design.
  • Good knowledge of UX design & modern design patterns.
  • Experience in iterative development methodologies like Agile.
  • Strong experience in creating sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group acting as a liaison between technology teams, support teams and business units.
  • Strong experience in designing complex solutions for web and mobile applications (preferred).
  • Outstanding presentation and leadership skills.
  • Experience in iterative development methodologies like Agile.
  • Excellent typographical skills.
  • Experience in optimizing images for use on web & in mobile apps.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe After-Effects, Adobe Premiere (preferred).
