Data Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Commercial Excellence Team for a 2-year fixed-term role. As a key player in a diverse and dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to enhance decision-making, improve business processes, and support the organisation’s strategic goals through data-driven insights.

In this role, you will focus on data modelling, reporting, and visualisation, while leveraging tools like Power Automate to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes. You’ll collaborate with various internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement, support long-term business goals, and drive efficiencies across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain master data and reporting systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across multiple BI tools.
Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements.
Build and optimise SQL queries to enhance the performance of legacy systems and ensure smooth data flow.
Utilise Power Automate to streamline workflows, enabling faster decision-making and scalable automation.
Collaborate with business partners (Finance, Commercial, Global teams) to identify and implement data improvement projects.
Design and develop dashboards for reporting, market intelligence, customer targeting, and sales tools.
Visualise market intelligence analysis to assess overall business performance and evaluate sales force effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data systems and processes.
Develop materials like presentations, scorecards, and reports to communicate strategy, validate key metrics, and track execution.
Act as the primary point of contact for field force-related data and performance metrics.
Provide support and training to internal teams, enhancing their understanding of data systems and tools.

Key Requirements:

Tertiary degree in Business, Finance, Data Science or a related field.
Proven experience in data modelling, transformation, and visualisation.
Expertise in Power BI, including advanced DAX, to develop insightful reports and dashboards.
Skilled in data governance and compliance, with the ability to build models that meet both internal and external standards.
Proficiency in various analytics tools including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, and JDE is must.
Experience in optimising legacy systems and integrating modern technologies to ensure long-term scalability.
Ability to drive operational scalability, ensuring that systems are future-proof to support business growth.
Proven ability in automating workflows to improve efficiency while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex reporting challenges.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and present data insights effectively.
