Data Architect AWS

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of complex data models to support various business needs.
Work with different business segment leaders to gather and understand data requirements.
Analyze existing data structures and optimize or create new data models to meet business needs.
Use tools like Lucidchart for visual data modeling.
Make sure that data architecture is aligned with business and technical requirements.
Work with Data Engineers to implement data models in cloud environments, primarily AWS.
Conduct hands-on SQL testing to validate data models.
 

Skills:

10+ years of experience in data architecture and data modeling.
expertise in data warehousing, data modeling, and schema design.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
Experience in SQL and experience with ETL processes.
Familiarity with tools like Lucidchart for data modeling.
Experience with Spark and Snowflake is a plus.
Experience in marketing data projects is a plus but not mandatory.
Familiarity with data analysis and data pipeline development.
Knowledge of derived data attributes and feature engineering.
