Responsible for the operation of 24/7/365 facilities, including their power, cooling, and other systems.
Have over 4-8 years of experience providing data center network support for maintenance of network and security infrastructure
Management and maintenance of networking devices such as router, switches, firewalls
Perform after hour activities e.g., Minor Version Upgrades
Engages with 3rd party vendors for support & escalation - Telco / Circuit Providers, Vendors for Hardware and Software Support
Provide assistance in deployment and related support on network management systems · Provide support for Private and public IP address allocation & firewall port open requests
Perform day to day operational task for MACD changes · Provides remote monitoring, management, troubleshooting and remediation of LAN, WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, WAPs and network connectivity
Provides network configuration backups of datacenter network devices & Client’s network devices
Performs analysis and diagnosis of highly complex networking problems
Support in integration of firewalls with other management systems · Provides good hands-on support for the management tool like Tufin, Net Brain etc. ·
They also perform a variety of other tasks, such as:
Maintaining systems: Installing and configuring servers, storage systems, and networking hardware. They also maintain operating systems and perform preventive maintenance on equipment like chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
Monitoring: Monitoring system performance and capacity, and conducting daily inspections of critical equipment.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and identifying and resolving recurring issues.
Planning: Planning and executing data center migrations and upgrades, and developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Security: Conducting regular security audits and implementing security measures to protect data center assets.
Other tasks: Supporting incident response and mitigation, adhering to compliance standards, and providing technical support
