Linux Developer with GTS

Job Description: 

As a Linux developer in the GTS Data space, the individual will be responsible for designing and implementing Linux solutions for the wider team. Some of the problems will require innovative solutions and an analytical mindset.
The candidate should be able to work both as a leader to guide and teach others, as well as work independently with little supervision when needed. As a leader, the candidate will need to take ownership of getting projects completed.

Required Skills
• 5+ years experience.
• RHEL 8+ experience.
• Shell scripting experience.
• Experience with at least 2 non-shell programming languages.
• Oracle experience, including SQL writing skills.
• Jira and Confluence experience.

Desired Skills
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Scala.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with ETL tools.
