Job Overview:
The resource will work independently as a SAP BW HANA & BO DS Developer within the Tribe Data Governance & Quality, supporting data governance and quality for B2C applications. This role will also support the B2B team under GEMS, focusing on establishing data flows from various sources to CDH on AWS S3. The engineer will handle end-to-end data processing, from requirements gathering to optimization, ensuring reliable and efficient data integration across systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirements Gathering
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, understand, and document data requirements for B2C and B2B needs.
2. Dataflow & Data Model Design
- Develop and design dataflows and data models to support business needs across SAP ISU, CRM, Salesforce, and Neos (pricing application).
3. Testing & Validation
- Conduct comprehensive testing to validate data accuracy, integrity, and performance in all developed dataflows and data models.
4. End-User Support
- Provide support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilize dataflows and data models.
5. Functional & Product Expertise
- Maintain a functional understanding of data models across SAP ISU, CRM, Salesforce, and Neos.
- Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge of SAP BW, HANA, and BO DS for effective data processing and integration.
6. Performance Tuning
- Optimize data processing to efficiently manage large volumes, ensuring high-performance standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- AWS Integration for CDH: Support data integration into AWS S3 buckets for the B2B GEMS team.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SAP BW, HANA, and BO Data Services (BO DS) for data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience with AWS S3 for data storage and integration.
Soft Skills
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities and an analytical mindset for problem-solving.
Experience
- Proven experience in data engineering, DevOps, or similar roles with a focus on data governance and quality.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with data governance in large B2C/B2B environments.
- Familiarity with Neos pricing applications and CRM integration.
