Overview

The SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) role is vital to the organization as it entails managing the financial and management accounting processes within the SAP ERP system. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient integration of financial and accounting data, providing valuable insights for decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules to meet business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for financial processes.
Develop and implement solutions for financial accounting, management accounting, and reporting.
Perform system integration and regression testing during SAP FICO module enhancements or upgrades.
Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on SAP FICO functionality and processes.
Design and implement end-to-end business processes within the SAP FICO module.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls through SAP FICO configuration.
Participate in the design and execution of data migration strategies for SAP FICO implementations.
Work with cross-functional teams to optimize the integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules.
Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of SAP FICO issues, providing timely resolution.
Lead and support SAP FICO-related projects, initiatives, and enhancements.
Stay updated with SAP FICO best practices and recommend process improvements.
Conduct end-user training and develop documentation for SAP FICO processes and functionalities.
Assist in the development and maintenance of SAP FICO-related policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in configuring and implementing SAP FICO modules in large organizations.
In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
Expertise in SAP FICO integration with other SAP modules, such as MM, SD, and PP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in the context of SAP FICO solutions.
Experience in SAP FICO data migration, data management, and reporting.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certification in SAP FICO or relevant SAP modules is highly desirable.
Experience in SAP FICO consulting and providing end-to-end solutions.
Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration and customization based on business requirements.
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements related to financial systems.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and experience in migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong documentation and presentation skills related to SAP FICO processes and solutions.
