SAP Solution Architect

Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation:
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Product Lifecycle Costing (PLC) solutions on S/4HANA.
Customize the SAP PLC system to align with client-specific product costing and lifecycle needs.
Define and implement cost modeling processes for new product development, product modifications, and end-of-life planning.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, translating them into technical requirements.
Conduct workshops to identify gaps between ECC functionalities and SAP PLC, recommending best practices to optimize processes.

Data Migration & Integration:
Manage data migration from legacy ECC systems to S/4HANA, ensuring accurate and complete transfer of cost-related data.
Oversee integration of SAP PLC with other modules (such as SAP PP, MM, and CO) and third-party tools, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.

System Configuration & Customization:
Configure master data, cost models, and costing sheets in SAP PLC to reflect client-specific business processes.
Develop custom enhancements or extensions within SAP PLC where required to meet unique client needs.

Testing & Quality Assurance:
Lead testing efforts (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, UAT) to validate the functionality of the SAP PLC system.
Troubleshoot issues and resolve defects during the testing and deployment phases.

Training & Support:
Create training documentation and conduct training sessions for end-users and super-users.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation, acting as a point of escalation for PLC-related issues.

Change Management & Best Practices:
Promote best practices for SAP PLC implementation, ensuring efficient cost management and reporting.
Support change management initiatives by helping business users adapt to new processes and workflows.

Qualifications/Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Costing (PLC) module and its configuration on S/4HANA.
Knowledge of related SAP modules (CO, MM, PP) and experience with integrations between SAP systems.
Familiarity with SAP ECC and S/4HANA migration processes, particularly as they pertain to costing data.

Project Management & Communication:
Proven experience leading SAP implementation projects and managing cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite, project managers, and end-users.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical skills for mapping client requirements to SAP PLC capabilities and identifying optimal solutions.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in both pre- and post-implementation stages.

Experience & Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-8 years of SAP experience, including at least 2-3 years in SAP PLC and S/4HANA environments.
Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., S/4HANA, PLC) are preferred but not required
