Senior Software Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of quality assurance (QA) test project strategies, methodologies, and processes for complex IT initiatives.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to define the testing scope and ensure the approach aligns with project milestones.
Manage the development and execution of test data across various testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production).
Review and validate business processes, test data, and test environment requirements.
Ensure adherence to entry and exit criteria according to our testing standards.
Develop and execute test scenarios, generate scheduled reports, and track quality metrics.
Work with cross-functional teams to gain buy-in for test plans and track testing progress.
Develop QA project plans, identify scope, milestones, and critical paths for testing initiatives.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience of 8 years).
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with automation testing methodologies and technical testing.
4+ years experience in software or systems programming using Java or VBScript.
2+ years of experience with databases, such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or DB2.
At least 1 year in an informal leadership role with technical teams.
