Detailed JD *(Roles and Responsibilities)

Liaise both with the European/Global Middleware teams and the Software Development Groups to support the MQ Queue Manager and ITP Servers in Germany
Administrate MQ Servers based on Change Requests
Fix operational issues based on Incident Records
Provide performance metrics and statistics for MQ Series Infrastructure and usage
Communicate regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure new MQ Series solutions are well planned and understood to support our production services
Support decentral administration tools to support the MQ Infrastructure (MO71, MQGem)
Mandatory skills*

Must have experience of z/OS mainframe systems programming. This is essential to the role
Must have a very good knowledge of MQ Series
Must have knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL
Must have knowledge of Linux and the required user interface and tools
Must have good problem determination skills.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
Build effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same 
A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own and others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes

Rexx and CLIST skills
Linux Shell scripting
