Responsibilities:
- Design ETL data flows using SSIS; create mappings/workflows to extract data from SQL Server and Data Migration and Transformation from Oracle/Access/Excel Sheets using SQL Server SSIS, ETL Architecture Design.
- Create jobs, SQL Mail Agent, Alerts and schedule SSIS Packages.
- Debug the Packages Using Break Points, Data Viewers, Script Task.
- Implement Error and Event Handling: Precedence Constraints, Break Points, Check Points, Logging.
- Deploy the Packages Using Newer method of Project deployment Model with Project Parameters and Environments and Package Deployment Model with Package configurations of XML and Sql server.
- Deploy the Packages Using DTUtil Commands, Deployment Utility and Scheduled Packages with DTExec Commands in Sql server agents.
- Create ETL (SSIS) process to transfer data from OLTP Files to data warehouse, schedule and monitor jobs.
- Implement SSIS package security, protecting packages, executing, monitoring and managing them.
- Design develop debug and test SSIS packages, Stored Procedures, configuration files and implement best practices packages to maintain optimal performance.
- Create Complex SQL Queries using Views, Indexes, Triggers, Roles, Stored procedures, and User Defined Functions.
- Create Complex Stored Procedures and automate them using SQL Server Agent.
- Create Triggers (Instead of and After) for Auditing Purpose.
- Create Views and Indexed Views for the Performance Tuning.
- Monitor and modify Performance using execution plans and Index Tuning.
Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, relevant engineering (computer engineering, software engineering, electronic engineering, or related), or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
