Position Summary:
- The Fraud Technology team is looking for a mid to senior level Scrum Master.
- Requirements include 4-8 years of experience (preferably in the financial industry), with a minimum of 3 years of experience with the agile methodology.
- The Scrum Master will be responsible for optimizing the flow of stories and the value delivered by one or more Scrum teams.
- Key responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing dependencies for the team, providing visibility into team delivery plans and progress, enabling continuous improvement within the team.
- This role ensures the impediments are resolved quickly, the team follows their agreed-to processes, and that there is a good relationship between the Product Owner and the development team.
- They act as an Agile Coach, promoting and coaching the Agile mindset and principles, empowering the team to become self-managing and fulfill their cross-functional potential.
Required Skills:
- 4-8 years’ experience as a scrum master/business analyst
- 3+ years as a scrum master for multiple teams
- Experience with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI, ALM for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing and documentation of requirements, and issue tracking.
- Experience leading agile development teams comprised of developers, analysts, product owners, testers
- Hands on knowledge of the agile process and ceremonies including iteration planning, sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, PI planning sessions, retrospectives etc.
- Demonstrable experience guiding and coach multiple teams on Scrum practices and the development of their understanding of Agile principles.
Desired Skills:
- Financial Services / Banking industry experience a plus
- Fraud Detection, Prevention, Servicing, and/or claims experience a plus
