Key Responsibilities:

• API Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement high-performance and reliable APIs using Java and the Akana API Management platform.
• Akana API Management:
  • Utilize the Akana API Management platform to create, deploy, and manage APIs effectively.
  • Configure and customize Akana API Gateway to meet specific project requirements.
• Security:
  • Implement and adhere to security best practices in API development and management.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure APIs comply with organizational security policies.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of APIs to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a focus on Akana API Management.
• Hands-on experience with the Akana API Management platform.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging API-related issues.
• Experience with security best practices in API development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Akana API certification.
• Experience with other API management platforms.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
