UST is looking for a qualified API developer to ensure quality delivery of end-to-end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in the US. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team. This position is for a full-time, on-site API Developer with 5+ years of professional experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), UML, and J2EE Architecture. Developers with published mobile apps will be prioritized.

- Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams
- Learn and implement newly released technology features wherever possible.
- Attend industry/technology-specific conferences (if any) and share knowledge with the team.
- Conduct peer reviews and demand high-quality standards from the reviewed deliverables.
- Contribute to ERP/CRM Practice-related activities like (but not limited to) assembling content for case studies, contributing to reusability, coordinating internal seminars and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions, during organizing sessions participating in hackathons, etc.
- Conduct technical assessments for hiring candidates in architect/lead roles.
- Review, design, and ensure adoption of industry best practices
- Design, execute, and maintain business domain solution architecture
- Guide and review technical delivery by internal teams
- Resolve delivery and design issues.
- Own the design of a complex module for projects of the following nature: architecture enhancements/mid-sized development projects/maintenance projects
- Serve as technology and process expert
- Use expertise and skills in enterprise solutions technologies to develop/enhance the ERP/CRM Practice.

What You Need
- Experience with HL7 FHIR, SMART On FHIR, and CDS HOOKS is a plus.
- Experience with oAuth, oAuth2.0
- Experience with API Gateway and Management platforms such as Apigee.
- Extensive knowledge of YAML, Swagger, OpenAPI, and Proxy Policies, and completely integrate API Pre and Post Flow using Java and JavaScript.
- Experience with Microservices development and design patterns
- Experience with various Design Patterns and hands-on experience in developing SOAP (JAX-WS) and RESTful (JAX-RS) Web Services using Spring Web Service, Apache CXF, Jersey, and Axis
- Ensure that developer APIs and SDKs are defined to enable effective and timely delivery meeting the requirements of our business, markets, prospects, and customers
- Strong experience in using JMS Queue and Topic's for building messaging-related solutions using MDBs.
- Strong SQL and database Programming skills in working with Oracle/IBM UDB/Sybase Databases, Cosmos, and MonogoDB.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology.
- Experience with Web Servers like WebLogic/Tomcat and using IDEs like Eclipse, JDeveloper, etc.
- Experience with Unit Tests using JUnit, build tools Ant/Maven, and continuous integration services is desired.
- Excellent analytical, comprehension, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, Innovative in proposing solutions.
- Additional Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with one or more agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and eXtreme programming
- Experience with backlog management and sprint management leveraging tools, including the Rational Team Center, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), or JIRA
- Familiar with consuming, designing, and developing system integrations with a variety of standards: HL7, FHIR, EDI/X12, HTML5/CSS, SOAP, and REST
- Experience with XML, XSLT, JSON, or other data formats
- Familiarity with relational & non-relational databases such as Cache
