API Developer

Job Description:
Work within API Management team, hands-on APIGEE Edge , OAS Spec review, Proxy development .
Reviewing OAS /Swaggers - Operational
Developing Proxies - Operations
Developing Automations -
Rotational weekly On Call Support /Incident Management using Service Now.

Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; 2-4 years’ experience in software development
Master's Degree: 2 years or more of software development experience

Technical Skills 
(Required)
1. Experience writing API proxies on platforms such as Apigee Edge, AWS API Gateway or Azure API Gateway or similar.
2. Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger Editor & Postman, and linting tools like Spectral.
3. Knowledge of security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and TLS.
(Desired)
Familiarity working in a Scrum environment
Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
Hands on experience with metrics and visualization tools like Kibana, Grafana, or equivalent.

Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints. Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Must be reliable and proactive – able to work independently and meet deadlines.
