Appian Developer

 Responsibilities:

· Over 6 years of experience in Appian with a total of 9+ years of industry experience.
· Experience in system/enterprise-level architecture and designing.
· Lead the build, test, and delivery of intelligent automation solutions using industry-leading vendor technologies.
· Collaborate with diverse onshore/offshore teammates on the software development process and agile methodologies.
· Strong understanding, design, and hands-on experience with various Appian Objects such as Records, Reports, Tasks, News, Sites, Actions, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, Process Models, Decisions, Integrations, Connected Systems, Data Stores, Groups, Feeds, etc.
· Have worked on one or more end-to-end Appian BPM implementations (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package).
· Sound knowledge of Appian Process/Solution and Infrastructure Architecture, including Appian In-Memory KDB Engines, Custom properties, Topology, Sizing, Scaling Vertically/Horizontally.
· Sound knowledge of App Servers such as JBOSS, TOMCAT, and Web Servers such as Apache.
· Sound knowledge of Authentication types and configuring them between various external systems.
· Integration experience with Web Services (SOAP and REST), ESBs such as MuleSoft.
· Hands-on experience in writing Appian Plugins (includes Smart Services, Function Plugins, and Servlet Plugins), Connected Systems, and Component UI Plugins.
· Experience with Embedded SAIL and Portals.
· Experience with J2EE Design Patterns such as JSPs, Java Servlets, EJBs, JDBC, etc.
· Ability to work within Safe Agile (Scrum/Kanban) Concepts and understand and work using CI/CD Technologies such as Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub.
· Appian "Lead Developer" certification is a MUST.
· Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to provide the right solutions to the client.
· Provide support to consultants and clients, understanding business issues and related challenges of the client’s organization and industry.
· Support the operations of the engagement team and management while performing as an integrated team member.
