Required Skills:

  • Tier2 Support.
  • Focus on Outage and Incident tickets passed from T1- team 12*5 and 24*7 on Call.
  • Analyst mindset.
  • Debug issue and identify right team to fix it.
  • Problem Solving Steps.
  • Understand Architecture and debug the code (not expected to fix code).
  • Should be able to make config updates.
  • Proactive incident management and health check.
  • Example: need any new alerts / triggers?
  • Development and Release participation.
  • Define non functional requirement.
  • New Operational requirement needs. 
  • Release readiness participation.

Goal of T2:

  • Reduction in MTTR and number of incidents.
  • Should have good understanding of Java and ELK.
