Application Support Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. IBM API Connect administration 

·Planned, implement/assist the Engineering team in quarterly/yearly upgrades for hardware, firmware, and software for yearly roadmaps.

·Assist with around-the-clock monitoring, acting on alerts, analyzing errors, trends, and resolutions

·Identify and recommend optimization & error reduction and performance improvement enhancement

·Takes a lead role in collaborating with customers, business analysts, partners, and IT team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

·Concentrates on providing innovative solutions to more complex business needs.

·work with Database administrators to enable connectivity from Middleware Tools to relevant Databases, and optimize the connectivity with appropriate parameter settings

·Configure clustered instances where required using appropriate technologies

·and work with Application developers, System and Database administrators to deploy Middleware agents and configure them.
