Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint
retrospective).
• Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles and practices.
• Remove impediments to the team’s progress and foster a self-organizing environment.
• Ensure transparency by maintaining the Scrum board and tracking progress.
• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlog items and refine user stories.
• Shield the team from external distractions and interruptions.
• Foster collaboration and communication among team members and stakeholders.
• Continuously improve team performance through metrics and feedback loops.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination and resolution of dependencies.
• Act as a servant leader and advocate for Agile values and principles within the organization.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and practices.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor teams towards self-organization and continuous improvement.
• Experience in conflict resolution, negotiation, and consensus-building.
• Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA, Trello, or similar software.
• Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., CSM, PSM) is often preferred.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem-solving attitude and willingness to take ownership.
