Role Requirements

  • Skillset: Selenium, Java, manual testing, automation testing. We are seeking an Associate Test Architect with 10-13 years of experience in test automation and a deep understanding of the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation testing along with a nice-to-have experience in performance or security testing. The candidate will work on enhancing the quality and reliability of insurance applications, focusing on automation frameworks while contributing to performance and security testing as needed.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manual & Automated Testing - Analyze insurance-specific requirements and create manual and automated test cases to validate the functionalities.Conduct thorough manual testing for critical business flows, and leverage automation for repetitive and regression scenarios.
  • Domain-Specific Testing - Conduct in-depth testing of insurance workflows, such as claims management, policy issuance, renewals, underwriting, premium calculations, and regulatory compliance.Ensure business rules and regulatory requirements specific to insurance are thoroughly tested and validated across manual and automated efforts.
  • Automation Framework Development - Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium/Cypress/RPA, or similar.Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing in the insurance domain.Focus on maintaining high-quality insurance workflows through automated tests for policy management, claims processing, underwriting, and premium calculations.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers to understand insurance-specific requirements.Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to integrate automation tests and assist in performance and security assessments.Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing detailed testing estimates and insights on automation, performance, and security needs.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensure that all applications meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, performance, and security, especially for critical insurance processes.Continuously improve the QA process, driving efficiencies through automation and supporting performance and security initiatives.
  • Reporting & Metrics - Track and report on test execution results (manual, automation, performance, security) and defect status, providing metrics for test progress and coverage.Monitor the overall health and stability of the application, with insights from performance and security testing.
  • Performance & Security Testing (Good to Have):
  • Performance Testing - Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar to ensure insurance applications meet scalability and response-time requirements.
  • Security Testing - Collaborate with security teams or perform basic security testing (e.g., penetration tests, vulnerability assessments) using tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or similar, to identify and mitigate risks.Provide feedback on performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in the context of the insurance domain, ensuring compliance with industry standards
