Automation Engineer

hat You'll Do

Enable and lead practice improvements through test automation, ensuring efficient and effective testing processes
Design, build, and maintain a scalable automation framework that caters to both functional and operational needs
Collaborate on complex projects to identify testing optimization opportunities and leverage appropriate tools and technology
Continuously refine and improve the capability and feature sets of the existing automation framework
Develop and implement holistic functional and test automation strategies to maximize test coverage and productivity while reducing test cycle time
Guide and mentor geographically dispersed test automation engineers on project-specific tasks and objectives
Execute manual and automated tests as needed to ensure comprehensive testing coverage
Implement cost-effective solutions, best practices, standards, and guidelines for automating tests, ensuring high-quality results
Participate in architectural and technical design sessions to optimize product quality and ensure alignment with business requirements
Drive process improvement, innovation, and automation, identifying opportunities for growth and development
Act as a technical QA liaison to IT and Business groups, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

What You Know

Strong foundation in Java, SpringBoot, Rest Assured, Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins, and Mongo DB
Knowledge of database concepts and principles
Quality planning and risk management principles, with the ability to fulfill all quality planning and risk management deliverables
Design control, risk management, document generation, and design testing processes, with the ability to coach product development teams to successful completion
Effective communication and project management skills, with the ability to maintain visual tools for project tracking and management
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing feedback and guidance as needed

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.
