AWS Cloud Engineer/Application Support

What you will do:

Provide day to day Operational support of existing UAT and Production AWS environments for customer environments under multiple product lines. Provisioning & maintaining Infrastructure as a code using scripts, implementing new scalable and redundant multi-AZ AWS environments. Perform new buildouts, maintenance, upgrades, optimization, and disaster recovery as needed. Resolve customer issues as required relating to latency, access, performance, and functionality. Perform on-call duties.

• General knowledge of Data center designs and architecture and Basic Business contingency scenarios.
• Industry best practices for building Cloud infrastructure as a code.
• Various 3rd party tools/products available for monitoring and security (Splunk/AppD would be a +)
• Deployment software experience (GitHub, Octopus/Jenkins)
• GIT experience
• Networking (TCP, HTTP, DNS) and security (firewalls IP table, VPN, SSH)
• Windows and Linux administration experience
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues solo/team

Experience:

• 5+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience.
• 3+ years of Cloud Technology experience, preferably AWS.
• AWS sysops or architect associate certification a plus.
