AWS Tech Lead

Job Title: AWS Tech Lead - Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid onsite) - Rate: $74 on C2C Max - Client: LPL - The job involves leading the development of cloud services and platform solutions for hosting business-critical applications. - The role is hands-on and technical and requires the development of cloud-native services to support LPL's overall cloud strategy and migration to AWS. - Responsibilities include leading and participating in the design, architecture, and development of solutions using modern cloud-based architecture and tools. - The role involves redesigning legacy systems from on-prem to cloud-based solutions. - The AWS Tech Lead will build and define best practices for common/reusable components and build scalable/resilient solutions. - The role involves participation in a Scrum/Kanban delivery model to deliver sprint releases through stories/epics utilizing Jira. - Requirements for the role include 5+ years of designing and developing using common AWS services, 10+ years of proficiency in at least one language such as C#, .Net Core, and full-stack development, and 5+ years experience with Docker and Kubernetes. - The role requires 3+ years of experience in a lead role overseeing a development team. - Core competencies include a strong understanding of distributed/decoupled systems, relational/non-relational databases, and AWS's Well-Architected Frameworks. - The candidate should have an understanding of modern work practices such as DevSecOps, Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Agile project Delivery, Release Engineering. - Preferences include any AWS certificate, experience with confluent/MSK Kafka, any RDS specialization, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey technical solutions to the entire organization.
