Azure Architect

Job Description: We are in search of an experienced Azure Architect with a minimum of 3 years of architecture experience to lead the migration of a front-end application from Rackspace to Azure. As an Azure Architect, you will be pivotal in setting up and replicating Microsoft-based services, managing diverse front ends, databases, and file storage systems. Responsibilities: Migration Leadership: • Lead the migration from Rackspace to Azure, focusing on a direct lift while discarding unnecessary components. • Replicate and optimize Microsoft-based services seamlessly in the Azure environment. Application Transition: • Oversee the migration of a front-end application to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless functionality. • Collaborate with development teams to streamline the transition process. Infrastructure Design: • Design and implement Azure infrastructure to accommodate multiple front ends, databases, and file storage systems. • Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable and secure Azure solutions. Security Implementation: • Establish robust security measures for Azure, following best practices and configuring access controls. • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data in the new environment. Experience and Expertise: • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure architecture, with a focus on successful migrations. • Demonstrate proficiency in managing Microsoft-based services and deep knowledge of Azure architecture. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3+ Years of Architecture Experience • Proven experience as an Azure Architect with a track record of successful migrations. • Experience migrating a front-end application from Rackspace (or similar) to Azure • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies and services. • Experience in setting up and managing front-end applications, databases, and file storage in Azure. • Familiarity with Azure security best practices and implementation.
