Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Description :

Seeking a highly skilled Azure Cloud Engineer with expertise in Infrastructure automation and Networking.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Supporting deployments ensuring proposed solutions meet Client Standards and Patterns.
Support the team and customers with day-to-day project requests, and escalated project incidents.
Creation of required Engineering documentation including detailed diagrams.

Design, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code modules using Terraform to ensure consistent repeatable and scalable deployments.

The role requires a deep understanding of Azure Services and ensuring all deployments meet best practices and security controls.

Skill Required/ Responsibilities/Technical Qualifications:

Must have 7+ years of Azure Engineering hands on experience.

7+ years prior experience in a senior technical role, demonstrating the technical design and practical implementation of complex infrastructure solutions in an enterprise environment

Experience designing, building and supporting Azure Public Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of Azure Best practices and standards.

Knowledge and understanding of the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
FortiNet FortiGate Firewall experience in the cloud an asset.

GCP, AWS or AWS experience an asset.

Network/Security/DNS experience in the cloud.

Telecom sector experience is an asset.
Excellent verbal, written and diagramming skills.
Deep knowledge of Azure cloud technology and architectures.
DevOps experience: CI/CD pipeline implementation using Terraform & Git Actions
Familiarity with Confluence & Jira.
