As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will:
plan and execute Cloud engineering development projects, utilizing advanced software and hardware engineering principles of Cloud architecture such as Azure, AWS, and Google.
Uses both hardware and software engineering expertise to apply theoretical principles and methodologies to accomplish complex engineering assignments. An IT Engineer is responsible for IT project planning, design, business analysis, development, and test.
Experience with DaaS/VDI technologies in the cloud, preferably Azure (i.e. Horizon Cloud Services, Windows Virtual Desktops. Cloud PC)
A thorough understanding of core technologies (i.e. DNS, DHCP, Wireless, Active Directory etc.) and how they integrate with the cloud
Advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platform.
Experience in designing and implementing Cloud or Data Center solutions including aspects like compute, network, storage, security, monitoring, and automation.
Familiarity of Cloud capabilities, products and services for Azure, plus other Microsoft products and services (i.e. Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Microsoft 365, etc.)
Technical Skills:
Experience with devsecops practices in a cloud environment; Azure and multi-cloud experience is a plus.
Develop framework for product teams to design, build and deploy changes for existing software.
Identify, recommend and implement automation for manual processes.
Maintain, improve and secure company's multi cloud infrastructure and associated processes
Partner with internal key stakeholders (InfoSec, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud COE, networking) and industry leaders to maintain a current security posture for the cloud services
Extensive experience with DevSecOps tools; e.g. Azure Pipelines, Kubernetes Service, Azure Policy, Azure Key Vault, GitHub, Azure Monitor and other similar
Experience in designing and implementing Cloud or Data Center solutions including aspects like compute, network, storage, security, monitoring, automation, and cost optimization
Familiarity of Cloud capabilities, products and services for Azure, plus other Microsoft products and services (i.e. Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Cloud App Security, Microsoft 365, etc.).
Experience with implementing security controls in cloud, Data Center or hybrid environments.
A thorough understanding of core technologies (i.e. DNS, DHCP, Wireless, Active Directory etc.) and how they integrate with the cloud
Strong scripting and automation experience; Azure preferable
Experience that can help implement a governance framework that creates a seamless onboarding experience into and management of Azure or other cloud

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
Ability to effectively address technical questions/with various audiences, including non-technical teams, at all levels in the organization.
Capacity to drive hands-on technical engagements with the customers and guide them through cloud.
Employ creativity to devise effective and efficient strategies.
Passion for technology, with an ability to understand and assess new technologies, and their potential applicability to business needs in an efficient, effective manner.
Ability to work in an Agile format with stakeholders across multiple organizations to design and implement cloud agnostic solutions.
