In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and improving the process flow of a specific battery production stage, maintaining process efficiency, and implementing continuous improvement strategies. Job Functions
• Develop and launch all new manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with small teams on in-house development of novel and complex automation equipment.
• Closely collaborate with external equipment integrators on custom automation equipment.
• Manage external equipment integrators from equipment development through handover to local operations team.
• Install, Commission and qualify new equipment and fixtures for production implementation.
• Troubleshoot processes capability and stability through root cause analysis and DOE.
• Establish and improve the process flow of a specific battery production stage.
• Develop and maintain process documents such as Work Instructions (WI) and Operation Instructions (OI), as well as conducting training for production employees.
• Utilize methods such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), lessons learned and continuously improve the manufacturing process.
• Implement lean improvement in the process to enhance product yield, process capability, and reduce costs.
Job Knowledge and Skill:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Minitab, CAD, and other relevant software.
• Knowledge and experience in quality tools such as DOE, FMEA, and 8D.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in different stages of the lithium battery process is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in battery process related field
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field
