FORTRESS EXPERIENCED BI DEVELOPER
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver intuitive and visually engaging Power BI reports that align with varying data needs across the Fortress Credit business.
- Establish and support key relationships with our business and technology partners.
- Drive brainstorming and requirements discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Integrate data from multiple systems to provide more comprehensive perspectives and data-driven narratives to our business partners.
- Develop and architect robust data models to improve report performance and streamline report development.
- Create interactive and dynamic visualizations that offer actionable insights to drive business value.
- Operate with an improvement mindset and advocate for the creation of sound and practical data pipeline and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related capacity.
- Proven record of designing and delivering intuitive and visually engaging Power BI reports and Paginated Reports. Ability to show a portfolio of report designs is a plus.
- Relevant knowledge and experience in private equity / finance is a plus.
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in:
- Power BI – Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and visualization techniques.
- Report Builder - Designing and creating SSRS / Paginated Reports
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
- Experience using Python data transformation tools and libraries.
- Power BI (or relevant) certifications is a plus.
- Experience with Tableau and Microsoft cloud data platforms (e.g., ADF, Data Bricks, Fabric) is a plus.
