BI/Microstrategy Developer

Key Responsibilities:
As a MicroStrategy developer should be responsible for developing reports, dashboards, and end user applications
Working with cross-functional teams, you will participate to gather and document reporting requirements to meet the business needs
You will be responsible in defining the schema, creating the objects/reports, dashboards, performance tuning, and helping with the testing
Design, develop, and implement BI systems to work with Business Analyst and Data Architects
Remain current on the latest MicroStrategy/Tableau technologies and facilitate plans to incorporate new features
Create/Update SQL Stored Procedure
Create/maintain materialized views and nightly refreshers
Skills/Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Must be willing to obtain a public trust clearance
Must possess 3-5 years of development experience with MicroStrategy
Experience with some other open-source BI Tool (e.g. Jasper)
3+ years’ experience in Data Warehouse design/development experience, with knowledge of data warehousing concepts and star-schema architecture
Experience in writing SQL queries, analyzing the data discrepancies, and performance issues
Expertise in creating MicroStrategy documents, grid reports, and dashboards
Strong experience in SQL Stored Procedure
Familiarity with Redshift and materialized views
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
