Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Health and Human Services (HHS). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of analyzing complex business processes, developing actionable insights, and effectively presenting findings and recommendations to the upper management. This role will be instrumental in driving data-informed decisions that enhance our HHS programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to HHS programs to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and workflows within HHS, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program managers, IT, and finance, to understand needs and provide analytical support.
  • Reporting: Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that present findings in a clear, actionable format for senior leadership.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver presentations to upper management, effectively communicating complex information in an engaging and understandable manner.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing HHS projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and adhere to timelines and budgets.
  • Compliance and Policy Review: Support the review of policies and compliance regulations related to HHS, providing insights to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff on data management tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Social Work, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically within Health and Human Services.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL).
  • Proven experience presenting to and influencing upper management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HHS regulations, policies, and best practices is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
