Description

Position: Business Analyst Responsibilities:

Liaise between client business users and internal IT developer to gather business requirement. 
Analyse and Devise best in class solution that leverages internal products and industry best practice 
Ensuring BRDs are within scope of SOW 
Work with IT leads to draft FSD with high level of technical details. 
Ensure BRDs and FSDs are signed off timely according to project plan. 
Work with IT Leads to track RTM across SOW, BRD, FSD and Test Scripts 
Timely escalation of issues to PMs and BA Lead on issues 
Work with Tester leads to formulate test plan, test approach and detailed test case. 
Working with Tech Writers to ensure User Manuals are correctly documented. 
Conduct training/work with trainers to ensure customers (eg. Ops Team) are trained to use the system. 
Handholding BAU Support Team (to ensure business knowledge is correctly handed over. 
Supports Pre-Sales in assessing requirement gaps and work with Tech Leads to provide high level estimates. 
Work with PMO to ensure compliance to all relevant processes (PM/BA/Tech leads)


Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science, Business Admin or Finance 
At least 5 years in assuming role of IT Business Analyst/Business Solution Architect in a Financial Institute/FI Vendor. 
Proven track records of implementing systems (in capacity of BA) in Medium to large size projects. 
Analytical mind and creative mind in delivering out of the box solution 
Customer focus and excellent problem-solving skills 
Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills 
High level of personal integrity and attention to details 
Ability to lead structured business discussion with clients leading to concise decision. 
Regional implementation experience working in a multi-country setting 
Good understanding in industry trend and up to date in recent regulatory requirements.
