Experience and Qualification:
The Business Analyst will analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for Lenel systems. With 7+ years of experience and Lenel certification, the Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize Lenel system functionalities and support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for Lenel security system implementations.
- Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed solutions and identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and user stories for development and implementation.
- Work closely with solution architects and developers to ensure that technical solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather input from stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including business process flows, data models, and system configurations, to support project deliverables.
- Assist in the validation and testing of Lenel solutions, ensuring that they meet quality standards and fulfill business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders, assisting with the adoption and utilization of Lenel security systems.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders on requirements status, issues, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure that project timelines and deliverables are met, and that any deviations are addressed in a timely manner.
Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a business analyst, with a focus on gathering and analyzing requirements for IT projects, preferably in the security domain.
- Lenel certification (e.g., Lenel Certified Professional) required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as BPMN, UML, and requirements elicitation.
- Familiarity with security principles and practices, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field; CBAP certification preferred.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Visio, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
