As an IT Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Procure to Pay implementation, you will play a critical role in the successful deployment of SAP solutions to streamline our procurement and payment processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, IT, and external vendors, to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to procure-to-pay processes.
2. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and configure SAP modules accordingly.
3. Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where existing processes diverge from SAP best practices and recommend solutions to bridge these gaps.
4. Play a part in solution design workshops, providing direction on SAP capabilities and industry best practices.
5. Configure and customize SAP MM (Materials Management) and FI (Finance) modules to meet business requirements, ensuring adherence to SAP implementation methodologies.
6. Assist with the development of test plans, conduct system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the effectiveness of configured solutions.
7. Provide end-user training and support during the transition to new SAP processes and systems.
8. Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate risks, escalate issues as needed, and ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
9. Stay current with SAP technology advancements and industry trends to continuously improve processes and drive innovation.
