This position would require candidates to be in the office in Pittsburgh, PA 1-2 days/week.

For this role they are looking for a business analyst that has previous experience working with SWIFT Messaging

Business Analyst with SWIFT Messaging
Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid)
6+ months Contract

This BA will be supporting a variety of migrations projects by eliciting business requirements from business users and subject matter experts, defining and documenting requirements, writing functional specifications, and performing business process design in conjunction with operations teams.  

Responsibilities: 
•    Analyzes, defines and prioritizes the business requirements, functional specifications and operational architecture for up to and including  highly complex strategic, global programs.
•    Provides consultation to IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities and planning and implementing cross-functional applications or systems.
•    May allocate/coordinate work within a team/project.

Qualifications: 
•    Requires both independent (self-motivated) work and with a distributed team (i.e., physically located in other regions)
•    Must build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology partners
•    Understand and analyze business processes & workflows
•    Requires understanding of the Structured Finance business and an interest to further develop this knowledge
•    5-7 years of relevant work experience required.
•    Financial Services experience
•    SWIFT Messaging is highly preferred 

Top 3 Skills: 
•    Experience in Business Analysis [as Business Analyst or Product Manager/Owner role]
•    Experience in Agile/Scrum model or at least in iterative model where deliverables are expected in short span of time
•    Good communication, problem solving and analytical thinking skills
 

6+ Years of Overall IT Experience.
