Key Responsibilities:


 

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining BW/4HANA and S/4 CDS solutions to meet complex business requirements while ensuring alignment with SAP best practices.


 

Developing and optimizing data models and transformations in BW on HANA or BW/4HANA for enhanced reporting and analytics.

Creating and managing CDS views in S/4HANA for effective data access and reporting purposes.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Performing ETL processes and conducting performance tuning for BW on HANA or BW/4HANA and S/4HANA systems.

Providing mentorship to junior team members and technical leadership in projects.

Integrating data from SAP S/4HANA and other sources, ensuring data governance and accuracy.

Staying updated on the latest SAP technologies and best practices, implementing innovations for system enhancements.

Supporting system upgrades and providing post-go-live assistance, while collaborating with SAP Basis teams for optimal performance.

This role emphasizes the need to have a comprehensive understanding of data modeling, real-time reporting, and system optimization within the SAP landscape.


 


 

Qualifications:


 

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

8 to 10 years of expertise in SAP BW and S/4 HANA, with a strong focus on BW/4HANA (minimum 2 years).

Technical Skills:

Proficient in developing Core Data Services (CDS) views and understanding the underlying data structures in S/4 HANA.

Strong understanding of SAP BW4HANA or BW on HANA architecture and components, including data modeling objects like DSOs, Info Cubes, and MultiProviders.

Familiarity with SAP HANA modeling tools, including attribute, analytic, and calculation views.

Programming and Analytical Skills:

Proficiency in ABAP programming and SQL, with experience in custom logic and enhancements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex issues.

Collaboration and Communication:

Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
