Marketo Consultant

Long Term

Direct client

  • Perform hands-on Marketo system setup, configuration, development, administration, debugging and troubleshooting (Smart/Trigger Campaigns, Programs, Assets, Integration configuration for connected apps, etc)
  • Analyze requirements to determine appropriate solution designs considering capabilities, limitations, and design trade-offs
  • Work with consultants/vendors and/or offshore resources in support of Marketo development work
  • Document implementation considerations
  • Understand complex Marketo processes and data flows and make recommendations for optimization and improvement
  • Build productive relationships with a global IT team, including BSAs, developers & DBAs
  • Support the evaluation, design and architecture of the Marketing & Sales Technology Stack
  • Understand the full Lead lifecycle, and design solutions that interface with SFDC, Terminus, Campaign Automation Tools, and data orchestration platforms
  • Drive a cross-functional and integrated approach to Marketing within the company
  • Translate business requirements into system solutions
  • Analyze and determine application and interface solutions
  • Design and develop complex reports as needed
  • Drive and execute functional design, testing, change management and end user acceptance for projects and enhancements as needed
  • Interface with relevant teams to support day-to-day systems and interfaces issues related to existing application solutions
  • Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation or simplification
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • Skills: 5 or more years’ experience in an admin, developer or Business Systems Analyst role supporting Marketo
  • Current Marketo certifications plus
  • Strong analytical skills in analyzing complex problems, processes, and systems to propose solutions
  • Deep understanding of Lead, Campaign and Account based Marketing processes
  • Good understanding of related business processes like lead conversion, sales lifecycle, contact management in order to support impact analysis and design for proposed solutions
  • Design and implementation experience with Marketo & Salesforce
  • Experience with utilizing smart campaigns, programs, assets and debugging errors within Marketo
  • Experience with SFDC configuration, setup and administration a plus
  • Experience with Marketo & Salesforce platform integrations (inbound/outbound) using the REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, Data Loader
