Job Description:
The Application Owner will be responsible for a group of applications, understanding their current usage, working with the ministry on future plans, conducting technical assessments, and more. This role is at the forefront of application ownership, focusing on discovery of new requests, determining if existing applications in our portfolio can meet these needs, or if new solutions need to be sought.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting with vendors to understand roadmaps for applications.
- Submitting contracts for projects related to specific applications.
- Meeting with relationship and demand management at the ministry to discuss ongoing issues and potential escalations.
- Analyzing existing situations and figuring out forward paths.
- Analyzing current manual processes and figuring out how to automate them.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in clinical imaging cardiology or radiology. (preferred Radiology)
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take minimal direction to get things done.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Professional communication skills for interactions with vendors and clinicians.
- Project Management experience, preferred not required
- ServiceNow experience, preferred not required
- Google Suite experience, preferred not required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (open to all fields). However, candidates with significant relevant experience will also be considered even if they do not have a degree.
