Cloud Architect / Infrastructure Architect

Position Overview

As the Cloud & Infrastructure Architect - Telco BSS and OSS Expert at Tech Mahindra Limited Iberia, you will play a pivotal role in defining the architectural strategy for cloud and infrastructure solutions within our BSS and OSS domains. Leveraging your extensive expertise, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, scalable, and cloud-native systems that drive our digital transformation and enhance our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership: Provide visionary leadership in defining the architectural strategy for cloud and infrastructure solutions within our Telco BSS and OSS domains.

Cloud & Infrastructure Expertise: Leverage your deep knowledge and experience in cloud computing and infrastructure to design and implement solutions that optimize BSS and OSS operations.

Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design end-to-end cloud and infrastructure solutions, considering scalability, performance, security, and compliance.

Cloud Native Transformation: Drive the adoption of cloud-native principles and technologies to modernize BSS and OSS systems, enabling greater agility and scalability.

Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies, infrastructure platforms, and best practices to ensure our architecture remains innovative and competitive.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to understand their cloud and infrastructure requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.

Standards and Best Practices: Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance processes to maintain cloud and infrastructure integrity and consistency.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the architecture and develop mitigation strategies to ensure reliable and efficient BSS and OSS operations.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of the cloud and infrastructure architecture, including design decisions, infrastructure as code, and implementation details.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on cloud and infrastructure architecture in Telco BSS and OSS.

Proven track record of designing and implementing complex, scalable cloud and infrastructure solutions for BSS and OSS operations.

In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Project management skills and relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are advantageous.
