Title: GCP Cloud Security Architect

Responsibilities:

Develop comprehensive security architectures for GCP-based cloud environments, considering factors such as data protection, identity and access management, network security, and compliance requirements.
Design and implement security controls and solutions to protect cloud resources, including virtual machines, containers, databases, and storage systems.
Conduct risk assessments and security audits of GCP environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, enabling automated security testing and continuous compliance monitoring.
Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices for cloud security on GCP, and provide guidance to internal teams on security measures.
Participate in incident response activities, including investigating security incidents, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing corrective actions.
Provide expertise and guidance on security-related projects and initiatives, serving as a subject matter expert for GCP security architecture and best practices.
Mentor junior members of the security team and provide training on GCP security concepts and technologies
