Cloud Solutions Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer with expertise in both data engineering and IoT solutions in the cloud environment. This role is pivotal in supporting our organization's Industry 4.0 initiatives, focusing on Azure and other cloud services to enhance our reporting/business intelligence capabilities and integrate IoT technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• IoT Solutions in Cloud:
  • Develop, deploy, and manage IoT infrastructure and applications within the cloud.
  • Utilize Azure IoT services and other cloud-based platforms for connecting, monitoring, and managing IoT devices.
  • Implement data collection, processing, and analysis strategies for IoT-generated data.
  • Ensure security and compliance of IoT solutions within the cloud environment.
• Data Engineering and BI:
  • Design and implement cloud-based data storage and processing solutions, leveraging Azure and other cloud platforms.
  • Develop and manage ETL processes, integrating data from diverse sources into cloud environments.
  • Create and optimize BI dashboards and reports, ensuring effective data visualization and decision-making support.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to identify data requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with IT, operations, and business units to integrate cloud, data, and IoT solutions.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and advocate best practices in cloud-based data management and IoT solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cloud computing, specifically in Azure cloud services.
• Strong background in data engineering, including experience with data warehouses, ETL processes, and BI tools.
• Experience with IoT in a cloud environment, including device management, data processing, and analytics.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and applications in a manufacturing or similar industrial setting.
• Relevant certifications in Azure, cloud computing, data analytics, or IoT (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
