Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced CMS Lead to oversee the implementation and management of the content management system (CMS) for our global digital platform. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the selection, implementation, and configuration of the CMS to meet the requirements of a global digital platform, ensuring scalability and flexibility.
Develop and maintain the content architecture, including content models, taxonomies, and metadata, to support efficient content management and delivery across multiple channels.
Manage and mentor a team of CMS developers, content strategists, and administrators, ensuring best practices in CMS development and content management are followed.
Oversee the integration of the CMS with other systems, such as CRMs, e-commerce platforms, and analytics tools, and customize the CMS to meet specific business needs.
Ensure the CMS supports multilingual and localized content, working closely with regional teams to adapt content strategies for different markets.
Establish content governance frameworks, including user roles, permissions, and approval workflows, to maintain content quality and consistency across the platform.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the CMS, implementing caching, load balancing, and other techniques to ensure fast and reliable content delivery.
Ensure the CMS adheres to security best practices and complies with global data protection regulations, such as GDPR.
Provide training and ongoing support to content authors, editors, and other users of the CMS, ensuring they can effectively manage and publish content.
Stay updated on the latest CMS technologies, trends, and best practices, continuously improving the platform to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in CMS development and management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of one or more CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal) and experience with their architecture, customization, and integration.
Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and relevant back-end languages (e.g., Java, .NET, PHP).
Experience managing CMS projects for global or multi-regional platforms, with an understanding of localization and multilingual content strategies.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.
