COE QA Architect

Responsibilities

• The role requires you to be able to manage the overall Product / software testing life cycle which includes the following responsibilities, The role involves innovating, developing and delivering automation frameworks, utilities and processes impacting our critical business objectives. Create career paths for our team members by strong mentoring and regular feedback/evaluation process. Set up best practices and identify areas for continuous improvement of the product development life cycle.
• Experience leading and managing large Quality Engineering teams from a transformation / delivery perspective (including product organizations)
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in automated testing, with hands-on experience in tools like Cypress, Rest Assured, and Postman
• Experience working in different tools – Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Karate and other industry leading automation tools
• Proven experience in software development using Java, React JS
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Have implemented solutions using AI / ML and GenAI
• Worked in Automotive industry and comes with relevant domain experience.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Collaborating cross functionally with Quality Architects and Quality Engineering Leads to proactively analyze current processes and practices and defining improvements of test strategy, test frameworks, infrastructure, tools and test coverage
• Lead client change programmes from a Test perspective, covering test strategy through to test delivery
• Bring best practices and innovation to our clients.
• Coach and teach more junior members of the team
• Create, implement and extend automation frameworks and utilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• 15+ years of overall Quality Engineering leader & 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full Product/Software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification.
• Experience partnering with Leadership, product, or program management teams.
• Experience in communicating with cross functional teams, other technical teams, and stakeholders to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy etc.
• 3+ years of Experience in Agile, Jira, Devops and Project /Program Management
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers.
• Experience building cloud native solutions on AWS and experience developing micro services using spring boot
