- Migration and Modernization:
- Lead migration and modernization initiatives to transition workloads and applications from traditional data centers to cloud platforms.
- Develop migration strategies, conduct feasibility assessments, and execute migration plans with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Cloud Platform Proficiency:
- Demonstrate expertise in cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including compute services, storage options, and networking capabilities.
- Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions to optimize performance, cost, and scalability across diverse cloud environments.
- Performance Optimization:
- Optimize compute infrastructure performance and resource utilization through capacity planning, performance tuning, and workload optimization.
- Implement monitoring and analytics tools to track system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Security and Compliance:
- Ensure compute infrastructure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including data security and privacy regulations.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, and encryption mechanisms to safeguard sensitive data and resources.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and application developers, to align compute infrastructure with business objectives.
