Job Description - COMSEC Policy Architect

We are seeking a highly motivated COMSEC Policy Architect to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing policy updates for our government customer. The role involves working closely with Government officials, decision-makers, Warfighters, vendors, and other contractors.

Responsibilities

Understand the fundamentals of COMSEC components including encryption, decryption, and key management, so to create comprehensive policy and upgrade recommendations.

Apply cybersecurity technologies and best practices to secure NSS and National Security Information (NSI).

The ability to create a plan to modernize COMSEC components to meet current and future security requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and performance standards.

Design and implement secure communication systems.

Conduct testing and evaluation of legacy, current, and future equipment.

Stay current on developments in cybersecurity and COMSEC technologies.

Requirements

Active Top Secret Clearance.

Radio/Aviation COMSEC experience

Experience Drafting, Interpretation and Implementation of COMSEC polices all for the benefit of the war-fighter

NSA and/or military branch experience – HARD REQUIREMENT (Could substitute for 25+ years Extensive, Very Senior DoD experience at the Senior Level)

Chief Warrant Officers (Highly Desired)

Personality is KEY – self starter

-Strong senior level briefing capacity

-Take initiative and action – little to no training available/be ready to go out of the gate

-Ability to provide recommendations and solutions; Guidance/direction limited

-Excellent document preparation and editing skills
