Experience (Years): 4-6

Role Description: "The team and the context: The Automation Engine and the Cloud Portal Backend and APIs are critical parts of the CCv2 and MCS automation managing all aspects and operations of customer environments. These components require continuous enhancements, patching, and updates to fulfil roadmap commitments and for security and compliance. The Cloud Portal is also in the process of a major migration from the legacy BTP Neo infrastructure to the next generation Kyma runtime. The team is based in Germany.

Qualification and Skills: The role will include the following responsibilities:

• Senior level Java and Spring development

• Front-end development using Angular

• Work in agile teams (Scrum) with remote contributors

• Contributing to the design and development of the automation platform to ensure it is highly available, reliable, and meets all functional and compliance requirements

• Act as stakeholder and representative for areas of responsibility

• Facilitate demos and knowledge sharing sessions on relevant technical topics with other technical teams

• Providing and maintaining technical documentation

Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent

• 5+ years’ experience in Java development using Spring framework

• Solid understanding of high availability, multi-tier web infrastructure and architecture

• Intermediate Linux and git experience

• Ability to effectively communicate designs and decisions to peers

• Effective team player to be able to work closely with peers and remote teams

• Fluency in English – verbal and written

• Fluency in German is considered an asset
