ControlM Analyst

Responsibilities:
 

• Design, develop, and implement Control-M workflows and jobs based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Monitor and manage job scheduling activities to ensure the timely and efficient execution of scheduled jobs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to job scheduling, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide effective technical solutions using Control-M.
• Maintain and update job schedules, ensuring adherence to established standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation related to Control-M workflows, job schedules, and processes for reference and training purposes.
• Implement automation solutions to optimize job scheduling processes and increase overall system efficiency.
• Conduct regular performance analysis and make recommendations for system enhancements and improvements.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and developments related to job scheduling and automation tools.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Control-M Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of job scheduling concepts, practices, and principles.
• Proficiency in creating and managing Control-M workflows, job definitions, and job scheduling.
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to job scheduling and automation.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell scripting, Python, or Perl is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with IT operations, system monitoring, and performance analysis.
• Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results within deadlines
