Controls Engineer

Summary:

The System Controls Engineering Contractor will work as part of the Engineering team. Primarily help document controls, process test data.

Responsibilities

Create applicable documentation of control systems and subsystems.
Analyze and process Test Data. Compare with simulation data.
Create Control diagrams using Visio and/or Simulink.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years of engineering experience
Understanding Control Diagrams
Understanding basic machine controls
Experience using model-based tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience with flow charts using Visio.

Preferred Qualifications:

Modeling and analysis of electro-mechanical systems.
Modeling tools such as Simscape, Amesim, Adams, Easy5.
Real-time simulation environments such dSpace, Opal-Rt, PLECS.
